In Japan, bonsai were traditionally displayed in a Tokonoma for guests' enjoyment. In the West, this style has been adapted for exhibitions. This session explores both approaches, covering bonsai preparation for shows and techniques for everyday display in gardens and homes. We will also study bonsai gardens, learning how to integrate them into our surroundings for maximum aesthetic impact.
