102: Botany for the Bonsai Artist (Group C)

Caring for a bonsai means caring for a tree. This session covers the basics of plant development, focusing on the role of light, heat, water, and nutrition, and how to balance these elements for optimal bonsai growth. 

In the hands-o session, you'll create a bonsai from garden material, learning to identify and enhance desirable traits in ordinary stock, setting the foundation for a great bonsai.
