You will also learn about Native, Naturalised, and Exotic species and how these influence bonsai aesthetics. Additionally, we will discuss bonsai location, including the importance of light, temperature, humidity, and airflow in maintaining a healthy tree. You will learn how to position your bonsai correctly for optimal growth and seasonal changes. In the hands-on session, you will focus on the basics of bonsai care, including an introduction to watering and fertilising. You will learn how to assess your bonsai’s needs, understand the importance of proper hydration, and apply fertilisation techniques to support healthy growth. This session provides a strong foundation for maintaining vibrant and thriving bonsai.
